Abstract. Currently, due to a lack of highly specialized multi-bucket excavators on the market, organogenic raw materials are quarried using single-bucket hydraulic excavators. Within the parametric scheme, the hydraulic manipulator of a single-bucket excavator can perform almost any trajectory of the cutting edge of the bucket in the face, thanks to independent drives for turning the boom, handle, and bucket. In order to reduce the risk of collapse of the open-pit sides, as well as to ensure the averaging of organogenic materials and the drainage of water from the bucket during excavation, it is recommended to excavate from the entire depth of the deposit. This method of excavation is carried out by combining the movements of the boom, handle, and bucket of the excavator, resulting in a bucket moving along a rectilinear trajectory and cutting off chips of consistent size from the face of open-pit. This process crosses all stratigraphic layers of the peat deposit.
