Аннотация. В исследовании анализируются параметры методов расчета ущерба от прорыва грунтовых плотин при стихийных паводках. Проведен сравнительный анализ моделей, выявлены их преимущества и ограничения, предложены пути усовершенствования. Результаты способствуют повышению точности оценки ущерба и эффективности гидротехнической защиты, а также могут быть использованы при оценке экономических параметров ущерба.

Abstract. The study analyzes the parameters of methods for calculating damage from the breakthrough of earth dams during natural floods. A comparative analysis of the models is carried out, their advantages and limitations are identified, and ways of improvement are proposed. The results contribute to increasing the accuracy of damage assessment and the effectiveness of hydraulic protection, and can also be used to assess the economic parameters of damage.
